Get Well Soon Pops

We have had a nice case of hand foot and mouth over here this week, what have you all been up too? Hopefully something much more fun! I'm not sure about you all but soothing a baby that is constantly uncomfortable can be hard and since Bennett is so young he can't tell me exactly what hurts. The little sores in his mouth gave it away he was hungry and it hurts to eat (I'm sure there were other things bothering him too).
To sooth Bennett's mouth and throat we started to give him homemade popsicles a few times a day.  These are also what we use as his ice cream since he has a dairy allergy.

Popsicles

Banana Raspberry
(get well soon Pop)
what you need:
1 pint of organic raspberries
1 ripe banana
1 1/2c almond milk
1tsp local honey
1tsp chia seeds (optional)
Popsicle molds

What to do:
1. Put raspberries banana almond milk and honey in a blender and blend until smooth
2. pour in chia seeds and stir (blended Chia doesn't taste that good)
3. Fill Popsicle molds and freeze, this makes 4-6 Popsicles depending on your molds. you can add or subtract almond milk to make more or less pop batter.

Once frozen just take out and enjoy! These are great for an everyday treat but they contain good nutrients for when your fighting off sickness, and will sooth a sore throat.

Have a great week everyone!

My favorite popsicle molds, they don't leak and are very easy to clean!!
